·                     All students K-12th Grade are invited to play

 

·                     3 Sections: Novice (under 600 USCF or unrated)

                                                 Intermediate (under 1000 USCF)

                                                 Advanced (1000 or over USCF)

            Note: All players play 5 games, win or lose

            Rated event, United States Chess Federation (USCF) membership required

            May join or renew at site (usually $19/year) or sign up in advance at USChess.org

 

·                     Entry Fee $15

 

·                     Trophies each section, rest receive medals

 

·                     Registration 9:00am - 9:45am at the San Diego Chess Club

                                Play begins at approximately 10:00am.  Ends 4:00pm - 4:30pm

 

·                     Bring chess sets if possible
